Launch party for The Broken Token

Broken Token Book Launch at Thoresby library
On the 7th of May the Thoresby Society provided the venue for the launch party for Chris Nickson's first crime novel The Broken Token, published by Crème de la Crime. This book is the first of a new series about Richard Nottingham, a constable of the City of Leeds, and is set in 1731.

Chris did most of his research in the Thoresby library. His publisher Crème de la Crime hosted an enjoyable party with drinks and nibbles and topped off by Chris reading an extract from his exciting new book and followed by a signing for everyone who bought copies on the night.
