The Society has been publishing work on local history since 1891. After 1989, to commemorate our first hundred years, new publications have formed part of our second series. We are delighted that all the volumes in our first series have now been digitised and are available to Members through this website.
Details of our second series publications are included here on the website, many of which are available for purchase. A number of these volumes are monographs with their own indexes, and copies of the latter are reproduced here under ‘second series volume indexes.
Pre 2005 publications are listed in three indexes which have been merged to enable searches online. This index currently consists of a full list of all the publications published by the Thoresby Society as well as the Contributors Index from 1891-2016 and the General Index up to 2016.
From Volume 21 (2011) those volumes with their own index have a link to that index. The individual indexes can also be accessed from the Volume Index tab on the left and below.
